About

Mr. Oldspeed

I spent years working as a mechanic before I ever made a boot. The garage taught me to respect my tools, chase precision, and how to stand behind my work. In 2023, I started Oldspeed MFG to bring that same discipline to bootmaking because I don't just want to sell boots, I want to help keep an American craft alive.

I'm based out of Media, Pennsylvania, just outside Philadelphia and down the street from where I grew up, and that matters to me. Keeping the work close to home lets me shape, stitch, and check each pair myself and invite customers into the process so they can see what they're getting and how it's made.

I build slow-made, sustainable, fit-first boots with high-quality materials and traditional techniques. No shortcuts, no mystery. Just honest craft meant to be worn hard and cared for well. Yes, it can still be done here in the United States.
